Around 4,000 Austrian farmers produce the &#8220;Back to Origin&#8221; products according to high standards.<br \/>\nEven before sustainability became a trend, Hofer produced all &#8220;Back to the Origin&#8221; products based on eight basic values: regionality, environmental protection, freedom from genetic engineering, animal welfare, highest food quality, transparency and fairness towards farmers and consumers. The basic values characterise all actions and activities of &#8220;Back to the Origin&#8221; and are laid down in the strict &#8220;Nach! standard&#8221;, which goes far beyond the existing EU Organic Regulation EC 834\/2007.<br \/>\nAbout 4,000 Austrian farmers produce the &#8220;Back to Origin&#8221; products according to high standards.<br \/>\nA special feature is the far-reaching transparency: All products can be traced back to the farmers of origin via app or on the back-to-origin website.<br \/>\nThe Austrian food brand thus operates regionally, sustainably and traceably and has passed comprehensive GREEN-BRANDS processes with excellence.
