This year the GREEN BRANDS Quality Seal will be awarded to 46 Austrian products and companies as well as to Hubert von Goisern. This is now the fifth time following 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018 that the international GREEN BRANDS Organisation is honouring Austrian brands as “GREEN BRAND Austria” that demonstrably practice ecological sustainability and act in an environmentally friendly manner. GREEN BRANDS thus honours the commitment of companies to climate and environmental conservation and to ecological responsibility.

After successful re-validation, the following brands were awarded the Quality Seal with one star:

The following companies have been re-validated for the second time and have received the GREEN BRANDS Quality Seal with two stars:

The Quality Seal with three stars was awarded after the third successful re-validation to:

For the fifth time, the following companies were awarded the four-star Quality Seal:

The GREEN BRAND Quality Seal is a registered and protected EU certification mark for ecological sustainability with an independent, transparent and neutral testing procedure.
The procedure for awarding the GREEN BRANDS is a worlwide unique procedure. It is divided into three phases:
Brands qualify for the GREEN BRANDS validation procedure on the basis of a representative survey of the population or on the basis of a nomination by an NGO, an interest group or a jury member. Only when a benchmark on the GREEN BRANDS Index has been reached does a high-ranking jury as the final authority decide to award and present the GREEN BRANDS Quality Seal.
